Our History

Meherrin Baptist Church has been a cornerstone of faith in Murfreesboro, North Carolina since 1729.

Throughout our history, we have remained faithful to biblical teachings and committed to serving our local community. Our legacy is built on the dedication of countless members who have shared God's love through worship, outreach, and fellowship.

Today, we continue this rich tradition while embracing new opportunities to reach people with the Gospel message.

Worship Services

Join us for inspiring worship services featuring biblical preaching, traditional hymns, and contemporary music. Our services are every Sunday morning at 11 AM!

Bible Study

Weekly Bible study groups for all ages, helping members grow deeper in their understanding of God's Word. Bible study is every Wednesday night at 7 PM!

Youth Ministry

Our youth meet each Wednesday night at 7 PM for fun, fellowship and Bible teaching! They also have opportunities for service projects, mission trips, concerts and more throughout the year!

Children's Ministry

We have programming for all children on Wednesday nights at 7 PM and Team Kids for children 3-5 on Sunday mornings during worship.

Community Outreach

If you want to serve in our community or beyond we have opportunities for you, which include Operation In As Much Local Missions Day, Chowan University Move-In Day, Mission Trips, a ramp ministry, and Disaster Relief Recovery trips!
